Mommy Goes To Work
Event marketing and B2B activations for a children's book brand, bringing its story about working parents into corporate offices and community events across Massachusetts.
Role: Event Operations & Marketing Coordinator
Client: Mommy Goes To Work|Children's book brand for working families
Timeline: September 2025 – May 2026
A children's book usually sells one copy at a time, to one parent at a time. Mommy Goes To Work wanted to reach working parents where they already are: at work. The goal was to turn the book into something companies would buy for their employees, and to use live events to build both sales and brand awareness.
The Goal
Supported corporate client activations, including Bring Your Child to Work Day, handling logistics, setup, and content capture so each event could be shared afterward.
Managed vendor logistics, sales activations, and attendee engagement at the AAPI Holiday Market and the Massachusetts Conference for Women, from planning through the post-event recap.
Produced Instagram and LinkedIn content that showcased each client engagement, so that every activation also worked as a case study for the next corporate buyer.
What I Did
The Work
📙 Book talk at Lovestruck Books
Produced the event recap, with a warm, community feel that showed the brand at home in a neighborhood bookstore.
📙 Booth at the Massachusetts Conference for Women
Managed the booth from logistics through recap, using book sales as a way to start conversations with potential corporate clients among the professionals and HR leaders attending.
📙 Bring Your Child to Work Day
at a Boston-based company
Supported the founder's on-site activation for a corporate client, handling logistics and setup, then documenting the day in photos and video for the recap.
